Sarah Bailey-Munroe

Sarah Bailey-Munroe Sarah studied law at the University of Cambridge before undertaking the Bar Vocational Course and qualifying as a barrister in 2012.

She is a respected practitioner who has dedicated her career exclusively to family law since qualifying. She has over a decade of experience and during that time has built a reputation for her compassionate approach, strong client relationships, and keen focus on finding practical solutions to complex issues.

Throughout her career, Sarah has been committed to helping families reduce conflict wherever possible. Unlike other areas of law, litigants in family cases rarely have the ability to walk away from the conflict once litigation is over. As such, effective legal representation in family law should focus on helping the parties to identify outcomes that will allow them to move forward as amicably as possible and should regard litigation as the option of last resort. Through her collaborative practice Sarah is committed to helping her client’s find creative solutions that work for their unique family circumstances.

Before relocating to Bermuda, Sarah ran a successful practice in London, where she gained extensive experience across all areas of the private and public family law field. Sarah has a particular interest in financial remedies, including those with complex financial structures. Her expertise has made her a sought-after advocate in cases where high-net-worth individuals face intricate financial disputes. Sarah also has extensive experience in intractable children’s law matters including cases with elements of parental alienation and international relocation.
