Honor has lived in and practised law in Bermuda for many years and she has extensive experience in all areas of family and divorce law. She has dealt with complicated financial disputes involving family inheritances, trusts assets, family businesses and corporate assets. She has also successfully handled contentious child custody cases. But whatever the issue, she is keenly aware of the emotional, psychological and financial damage that can be inflicted when family disputes are protracted, unpleasant and contentious. This awareness has led to her training in and promoting, where possible, the collaborative law process, both for the welfare of her clients and of any children of the family.
She has been a Vice-Chair of the Collaborative Law Alliance of Bermuda for over a decade and a member of the International Association of Collaborative Practitioners. She was also a long-time member of the Co-Parenting Mediation Council of Bermuda.
Honor can be contacted at Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited, where she is Counsel.
